Comeback Season

This is comeback season.

Pay attention.

Doors will open for the faithful, fruitful, and obedient to “come back.”

There have been setbacks, delays, postponements, distractions, detours, discouragements, and missed opportunities.

BUT GOD is a God of Resurrection.

The greatest comeback in history is HIS STORY.

On Friday, everyone thought it was the end for Jesus. But Sunday staged a comeback, the likes of which the world has never seen, before or since.

The word for someone today is this: “Your setback was just a setup for your comeback.”

I have been hearing and seeing this so clearly for the past few days, with confirmations abounding.

And here is what is most interesting to me about this word …

Some people will miss it (or mistake it) if they imagine it will look like a past season, or if they think they are “all good” and do not need a “comeback.”

This is actually not about YOU at all.

This is a move of God designed to prepare the way for JESUS to “COME BACK.” ←←←

My My My.

That is the piece of the puzzle that did not come clear until I started writing.

God is POSITIONING His people to prepare the way, for such a time as this.

I see SOULS on the horizon.

We will begin to see comebacks in all spheres of society as evidence of this reality. We will see a generation of leaders - mothers and fathers - stepping up and stepping in to show the next generation that you don’t retire … you RE-FIRE.

You will see people operating in new STRENGTH - spirit, soul, and body.

There is a grace to RE-FIRE right now. It requires obedience, it requires a YES to His call, it requires radical faith, and it is unto revival. I believe the Lord is uniting and igniting generations, cultures, and races for His glory. ← Apart from UNITY and a burning FIRE within the heart of the Body of Christ, we can never move forward and level up for His return.

This is about HIS COMEBACK. ←←←

God is raising up shepherds after His own heart. You will not recognize them as shepherds (pastors) until you see them, leading by example, an entire flock for His glory. These shepherds have spent significant time on the backside of the mountain, tending sheep. Now the Lord is positioning them for greater influence, but not influence as recognized by the “selfie-look-at-me” culture. This influence is holy, and it involves KINGdom impact.

The names may be recognizable, but the message is brand new. Hallelujah!

These shepherds will leave the 99 to go after the one! And the ONES they go after are anointed, chosen, appointed, and called by God for such a time as this. Shepherds, arise! The KINGdom is waiting for your YES.

There is fresh oil on the shepherds. It has come from pressing and suffering. It is a new anointing. Those who embraced the suffering will experience an authority that sets captives free in a new way.

THE OIL WILL FLOW, AND THE CHAINS WILL GO! Jesus, let it be so!

I also hear this word very clearly for these shepherds who are being called even as I type this:

“It’s time to tighten up.”

Music is a gateway. Social media is a gateway. It is time to look at every crack and crevice (when I dictated this, it showed up as Kraken crevice … #iykyk) of what is being released through you into the atmosphere in this hour. What kind of music are you sharing? What kind of lyrics are you releasing? Do they honor and glorify God? Go all the way back and look at what you posted and re-posted. Look at who you “follow.” It is time to clean and purify so as not to cause others to stumble.

It is time to unfollow and delete. ←

Mixture cannot go with you into this new season if you want to be used by God in mighty and miraculous ways.

It’s not that He can’t use broken vessels - He does it all the time - but there is an invitation to “COME UP HERE” and experience Him in a different way. He says, “Be holy as I am holy.” This is that.

The shepherds are being held to a higher standard. Clean it up, tighten it up. Now is the time.

→ There is no COMPROMISE in this COMEBACK.

Leave no door cracked or open. Leave no stone unturned. Do not give the enemy a foothold. He is roaming around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Resist Him. Submit to God. Clean it up, tighten it up.

It’s time to soar … your time to roar.

I see secret agents assigned to mobilize God’s army behind the scenes. He is moving and positioning people. I see sparks all over this nation and the Earth. As they are ignited, they will be united, and revival will go forth.

These are your marching orders.

For His Name.

For His Fame.

And For His Glory.

Come, Lord Jesus, Come.
