REMEMBER
The Body and Blood of Jesus
At the heart of this ten-day journey is REMEMBER, an invitation to go deeper into the Body and Blood of Jesus and His words: “Do this in remembrance of Me.”
For ten days, we will come to the Table and journey through His Body, His Blood, the Cross, the Covenant, forgiveness, healing, identity, resurrection, and the promise of His return.
Created for the High Holy Days, REMEMBER can also be used any time of year as a ten-day Communion journey—or returned to again and again as you remember what Jesus has done.
SHALOM, SHALOM
A Song Born from Isaiah 26
I didn't plan to write a song for this series.
As I was preparing for this teaching series, the Lord unexpectedly led me deep into Isaiah 26. What began as study became revelation—and somewhere along the way, Shalom, Shalom was born.
The title comes from Isaiah 26:3. The words translated “perfect peace” are shalom shalom in Hebrew—peace repeated, intensified, complete.
Those joining me for REMEMBER will receive a first listen to Shalom, Shalom with the introductory teaching on September 10, before its public release on September 13.
“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.”
— Isaiah 26:3 NKJV
WHY THESE TEN DAYS?
The biblical feasts are more than ancient traditions. They are appointed times established by God—sacred rhythms of remembrance that reveal His redemptive plan.
The fall High Holy Days begin with the sounding of the trumpet and culminate with Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. The days between are known as the Ten Days of Awe—a season traditionally set apart for reflection, repentance, prayer, and returning to God.
As followers of Jesus, we don't observe these days to earn righteousness or salvation. We see them through Jesus. They point us toward atonement, redemption, and the finished work of the Cross.
During our introductory teaching, we'll explore why these biblical appointed times still matter—and how they prepare our hearts for the ten-day journey of REMEMBER.
THE TEN-DAY JOURNEY
For ten days, we will come to the Communion table together—slowing down, opening the Word, and remembering what Jesus accomplished for us through His Body and His Blood.
Each day’s teaching will take us deeper into the biblical meaning of the High Holy Days, while revealing how these ancient appointed times ultimately point us to Jesus and help us remember Him in them.
Each day in REMEMBER will guide our time at the table:
DAY 1 — REMEMBER ME
DAY 2 — MY BODY
DAY 3 — MY BLOOD
DAY 4 — THE CROSS
DAY 5 — THE COVENANT
DAY 6 — YOU ARE FORGIVEN
DAY 7 — YOU ARE HEALED
DAY 8 — WHO YOU ARE
DAY 9 — THE EMPTY TOMB
DAY 10 — UNTIL HE COMES
Ten days. One table. Jesus at the center.
PREPARE THE TABLE
Each day of our journey will end at the Communion table. Before we begin, have your elements ready: unleavened bread or crackers, grape juice, and a small cup and plate set apart for Communion.
Keep it simple. You don't need anything elaborate or ceremonial. Use what you already have. If you need elements, here are a few simple options:
Unleavened Communion Bread · Grape Juice · Pre-Filled Communion Cups · Communion Cup & Plate
PREPARE YOUR HEART
The Ten Days of Awe have long been a time of reflection, repentance, prayer, and returning to God. As we enter these ten days together, I invite you to consider setting something aside through fasting.
Your fast may involve food, but it doesn't have to. It may be social media, television, entertainment, shopping, or simply something that has been consuming more of your attention than it should.
Fasting isn't about earning God's love or approval. It's about intentionally turning our hearts toward Him.
Don't make this complicated. Ask the Lord what He is inviting you to lay down, and let these ten days create more room to hear Him, seek Him, and remember.
“Lord, what can I lay down for these ten days so I can make more room for You?”
