The Jo Mark

Rather than signing my work with a traditional signature, I created an artist's mark that quietly tells my story.

Jo is the name Abba Father calls me. It is what those closest to me call me. It is deeply personal and a constant reminder of my identity as His daughter. This mark is not simply a logo or a signature. It is a reflection of that relationship and the work He continues to do in my life.

This mark was not created in a single afternoon. It was prayed over, sketched by hand, refined over many days, and shaped with intention until every line carried meaning.

The wave represents life in constant motion and the beauty of the Gulf Coast that has become my home. The palm tree speaks of peace, resilience, and the place where many of these stories are captured. The sun represents light, hope, eternity, and the promise that darkness never has the final word.

The three small dots carry a dual meaning. They represent the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, while also reminding me that we are created as spirit, soul, and body.

Whether through photography, painting, drawing, or another medium, every piece I create bears this mark not simply as a signature, but as a quiet reminder that every good and beautiful gift begins with the Creator.
